Critical to the success of dispute resolution services is the training given to practitioners.  We recognised very early on that if we were to offer the best dispute resolution services in chambers we would need to train our barristers thoroughly in mediation techniques.

Our barristers became fully accredited mediators with the ADR Group. They are now members of the Association of Northern Mediators.

Our independence at the bar ensures that we can be even handed in the advice we give to parties to resolve their disputes successfully.  An added bonus is that we can offer a neutral meeting ground by providing rooms in chambers for dispute resolution.

We believe that clients will appreciate the benefits of using an alternative forum for cordially resolving disputes rather than having to resort to the courts.  Research has shown that clients are already reaping the benefits of dispute resolution services.  To date, 80 per cent of parties using the dispute resolution services have found they are able to amicably settle their differences, and that 90 per cent of these cases never go to trial.
