Michael Collins

Michael is a member of the Criminal, and Regulatory Crime teams.

Michael is respected as a very strong junior who has specialised in criminal practice since 1998

He is highly regarded as an experienced practitioner and is frequently instructed as counsel of choice.  His practice extends to Police Disciplinary Tribunals, both presenting and defending

His prosecution and defence practice covers the full range of criminal offences, including homicide, rape and other sexual offences against adults and children, drug trafficking, offences of violence, road traffic offences and financial crime together with Proceeds of Crime

Michael was born and raised in Leeds and read Law at Nottingham Trent University.  He was called to the Bar in 1998.  He was invited to join No. 6 in 2004.  He is married with two children
